Day One: So the event started on friday at 3pm where nearly 55 hackers were turning up to attend the Hackathon Stuttgart 2015 with the focus to develop an idea within 48 hours.

All of the hackers have been keen of getting started their development. After short presentations of different gadgets, platforms and APIs like TinkerForge, Heroku, Cumulocity, Leitz Icon, the car2go and BOSCH APIs and a brainstorm to find innovative ideas the teams were built around the ideas.

At the end there have been formed 10 teams with 16! ideas. Super amazing!

Day Two: after the first night of the 24/7 hacking marathon the teams‘ motivation still scrambled till infinity. A night without sleep and hacking all time for the Hackers was no reason to allow themselves a rest – or was it? Well, surely some of the team members did do a short power nap but nevertheless the willingness to advance their idea grew from hour to hour. Handicarf work as well as hardcore coding and hardware using were part of the process on day two!

Every minute you could see the advancement: step by step the slogans got their final touch, the presentation sheets were filled with more and more content and the evening drawing nearer you could smell the excitement of the teams – growing to immeasurable.

Day Three: Final Countdown starting! Sunday, a few hours left till the final presentations of the teams‘ ideas were expected – red eyes, tired faces and slow motions everywhere you went. Final coding batches and battles and flurry as well as excitement on the maximum. This was the feeling you could notice on sunday – day three.

The jury, team Hackathon Stuttgart 2015 and visitors were really excited about the implementation of the ideas and the presentations of our 10 teams.

And really – the result was incredible! Team 1 to 10 did a really phenomenal job and presented their projects like pros. Impressive slides, fascinating and exciting demos and overwhelming know-how, used by different technologies, have been spitted out. A summary of all ideas and their used technologies you can find here.

We are really proud of our hackers, their work and their willingness to create such unbelievable projects within 48 hours. Thank you for attending and for making the event THE HACKATHON STUTTGART 2015!

See you next year then!
